Last week I was called in last minute to cover the Baritone Sax chair at the Nashville Symphony Orchestra for 3 nights, honoring the 100 year anniversary of Nat King Cole’s birthday! It was an amazing experience performing with a full orchestra and backing the amazing NYC-based rhythm section consisting of Gerald Clayton, Ben Williams, Terri Lyne Carrington, and Marc Whitfield.

Last week, I made my debut playing at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN with soul artist, Eli Paperboy Reed! The performance will be released on YouTube in the coming days!

Last week, I was given the incredible opportunity to perform live at the CMT Music Awards with Gladys Knight, Mickey Guyton, and Breland under the direction of Rickey Minor! Trumpeter Andrew Golden and I have assembled a rhythm section and joined forces to put together a tribute to Nat and Cannonball Adderley at Rudy’s Jazz Club in Nashville, TN, this Saturday at 9pm. As of a few days ago, the show has sold out, however the livestream will be available on Rudy’s facebook page!
After 15 months of the world being shut down to do the Covid 19 pandemic, live music is slowly starting to return to Nashville! Jazz Night will be back on every 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month at Cafe Roze, and Roze Pony respectively. Please call ahead to make a reservation, as these events are popular and will fill up quickly!
