Checkout Nashville’s very own Afrobeat collective, Crooked Rhythm Band for our inaugural show at Chopper Tiki Bar’s 2-year anniversary party this Saturday night! Carrying the tradition set forth by West-African afrobeat pioneers Fela Kuti, Ebo Taylor, and Tony Allen, the Crooked Rhythm Band is co-lead by Jake Botts on saxophone and Ray Mason (of Antibalas) on trombone. The band will be playing two 45-minute sets beginning at 8pm.
